When customers rally to support you

PocketTourist-md

Lynette Chiang of Bike Friday says her company has made the top 10 in the Lovemarks competition. Bike Friday is number 8, with Apple and Jesus ranking higher.

How did this small, Eugene, Oregon-based company make the top 10 in concert with a billion-dollar computer company and one of the world's most well-known historical figures? Chiang rallied customer evangelists with this article.

She says:

"We went from 4 votes to 160 votes in about 5 days. That meant 160 people on that period made BF top of mind, and thousands more are looking at the top 10 list and thinking, 'what the hell is Bike Friday?'.... Look at all the neat comments we can use because they are from members of the 'club.'"
