Also a Ms. PacMan sound

I love this name: Wagga Wagga.

It's a real city in Australia, but I didn't believe it when I first saw the name show up on our list of newsletter subscribers. (G'day to Evan Robertson, our first Wagga Wagga subscriber.)

Wagga Wagga is not contrived; it's Aboriginal, translated as "the place of many crows."

Wagga Wagga wisely promotes its creative name with humor, saying it has "a freakish ability to produce international champions in an amazing array of sports."

Just goes to show how a unique and fun name -- even for risk-averse and tradition-bound industries like government -- creates buzz.
