Time to Testify

testify-promobug-plain

We've been away from the blog dashboard for the past week because Jackie and I have been scurrying around like amped marketing puppies, preparing for today's launch of "Testify! How Remarkable Organizations are Creating Customer Evangelists."

"Testify!" is a 50-page ebook chock full of 18 new mini-profiles of organizations and their customer evangelism efforts. The ebook is a supplement to the hardcover version of "Creating Customer Evangelists" but with more vitamins. And niacin. Can't get enough niacin.

Even better, it's free.

Download the ebook and if you like it, forward it to friends, colleagues, moms, dads, whomever you'd like.

You guys are awesome - looking forward to reading it!

I look forward to reading it, but for an e-book, it's formatted pretty poorly. The font you picked is very hard to read on a screen.. too condensed, especially the italics. I'd recommend switching to a more standard "book" font such as Garamond Book or Galliard Book.

Anyone else having trouble reading the ebook on their screen?

Posted by: Ben McConnell at Jul 2, 2004 1:22:54 AM

Ben:

It prints beautifully. But for screen reading, I'd suggest using fonts designed for electronic display. Perhaps you could produce a "for print" and a "for screen" version in the future?

The whole letter-sized page format suffers on a computer display. Testify would be even more powerful if each "page" was designed to be one "screen".

Formatting issues notwithstanding - it's a wonderful book! Very inspiring tales from some very inventive companies. I must admit I read the whole thing at lunch today!

Copies have been distributed all around my company.

Congratulations to you and Jackie on a great project and to the companies whose stories you selected.

Thanks for the feedback and the kudos. Based on some other feedback, we've made a few minor adjustments to the ebook, like adding bookmarks and hotlinking the table of contents to the profiles.
