Not bad. I wish, though, that Seth opened his blog up for comments. Still, I agree with the fundamental notion of simplicity. Tools such as Powerpoint actually distract; and the conversation approach he suggests is effective.
¶ I try to meet people in the audience before a presentation, partly to do a Vulcan mind-meld for stories to lead the session, then launch into the real thing. Charging a couple of grand seems like a lot for an hour, but people don’t realize that the prep work isn’t just the eight hours spent in research, but the half-hour of rubbing shoulders prior to talking.
