I want my YouTube TV...
MTV got served this week. The video for the new Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Dani California" appeared on YouTube four days before MTV's "exclusive world premiere" on Tuesday.
So far, the video has racked up an impressive 121,433 views and 79 comments on YouTube.
Read the comments and you'll see the video is already creating word of mouth for the forthcoming album and tour. Plus, what an easy way for the band and the record company to measure online word of mouth to use YouTube's easy and fun metrics of video views and trackbacks.
Perhaps we could add "become a worldwide music video channel" to Ben's list.
