YouTube's growing pains
Ben Martin wonders why we haven't commented on the YouTube "user rebellion."
First, customer vigilantes are serious business. They can wreak havoc quickly, as the spread of this YouTube "rebellion" meme proves.
But without meaning to diminish the complaints of two very vocal YouTube power users who lament their recent experiences with the site, calling it a rebellion-- as Business 2.0/CNNMoney.com did -- seems pretty far-fetched.
YouTube is addressing copyright issues -- the source of the complaints -- on its blog. YouTube could certainly do a better job of responding to the issues raised.

Considering how far they've come this fast, I'm sure they'll make vast improvements in coming months. Their system is far from perfect.
