On the MarketingProfs blog, Lewis Green offers a compelling analysis of his work as a 1 Percenter and how it's changed his life.

Here are several posts that caught my eye this week. Slacker Manager Bren offered The Guiding Principles of Slacker@Work. Sound suggestions - here's my favorite: Be curious. Pursue other pursuits. And I would say these can be very related. I [Read More]
It's funny, the first time I heard the term 1Percenter was in reference to bikers. The crossover is a bit of a stretch, but I can relate. I'm glad someone has appropriated it for good. It's a very powerful term and I'm glad you and others are writing about it.
I have to say that I can identify with Lewis Green. Because of the "1 percenter" activities I've participated in, I've had the opportunity to do things that I never would have been able to do otherwise. I've been interviewed (even by some great authors!), met all sorts of cool people and made connections that may just help my business some day. The amazing part is that I've never even had to leave my little office for any of it to happen!
I found this website through an article on Ad Age and was glad to know someone has looked at who we are. I now feel like I belong somewhere and the 1 percenter feels right. We designed and created www.calmagazine.com in August of 2005, around the same time YouTube came out. But, our focus has been on creating cable television on the web. We continue to believe cable television on the web is the next evolution and we are predicting the demise of local TV stations. Check it out and provide any feedback. Thanks.
Thank you for the shout out. I finished "Citizen Marketers" yesterday: Great read! Thank you for all the research and excellent writing.
One Note: Until your book, being a 1 percenter was not seen as a good thing. I'm the high school kid that teachers disliked because I challenged their ideas; I was also a bad fit within corporations; and I drove my parents and all authority figures nuts.
Thank you for making 1 percenters hip.
Well after beating the doors in Hollywood to obtain collaboration on our website, we've decided to take the advice of one Hollywood producer, "create your own production company."
