Goodbye, Marc Orchant
Marc Orchant, our friend and friend to so many others, died today after suffering a massive heart attack. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
We met Marc about four years ago when he attended a Customer Evangelism University workshop. Back then, and through the years we'd stayed in touch, he was always an optimist. He loved to spot potential in people and ideas. He also loved technology -- not just gadgets but deep-seated technology, the stuff about security or productivity.
Because he was an optimist about people and ideas, both found him. Maybe that's why so many of us are shocked that someone who took such good care of himself and others can so unexpectedly be taken from this earth.
We'll miss him.
