The Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) has a neat infographic detailing the latest stats about word or mouth marketing, online and offline.

Interesting statistics - I tend to count in person brand testimonials as more credible. For instance, at a party one hears about food preferences and restaurant choices. Those are the most memorable.
